MEP Project Manager - Data Centers

TYG is partnering with a leading, highly successful design-build construction firm with a strong track record delivering large-scale, high-profile projects across the U.S., including mission-critical and data center facilities - to find an experienced MEP Project Manager for a major data center build in the Dallas market.

We're looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scope on a large-scale data center construction project. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who has been through the full lifecycle of mission‑critical MEP delivery - from equipment installation through commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all MEP scopes of work across the project lifecycle, from design coordination through installation and closeout
• Supervise and verify installation of MEP equipment on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and client standards
• Coordinate closely with GC teams, subcontractors, engineers, and commissioning agents to keep schedules and quality on track
• Manage MEP budgets, change orders, and cost forecasting
• Review and manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings for MEP systems
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols across all MEP work
• Track project schedules and proactively resolve delays or conflicts in MEP sequencing
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular reporting to senior project stakeholders
• Maintain strong quality control and punch‑list management through project turnover
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager on data center or mission-critical construction projects
• Demonstrated experience managing MEP commissioning from start to finish
• Hands‑on experience overseeing installation of major MEP equipment
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems specific to data center environments
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple trades and stakeholders in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment
• Relevant construction management, engineering, or related degree preferred
