Partners with the client to understand and achieve their project specific goals.  Ability to evaluate project status real time and make appropriate recommendations on staffing, schedule, and recovery when appropriate.

 Audit MEP processes and procedures for adherence to program standards and implements training to achieve goals. Participates in the preconstruction process including equipment procurement and interview preparation.  Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures, including full energization planning, and implementation. Responsible for sponsoring MEP Site Operation team members and conducting year-end performance reviews.ResponsibilitiesAssist bidding mechanical and electrical tradesBid and manage equipment procurement processParticipate and lead interview preparationMentor and train team members on critical system constructionManage and train team members on MEP processesSupport multiple projects / team membersSponsor and evaluate team member performanceDevelop and provide technical training for team membersEnsure consistent delivery of HITT’s MEP brand and productIdentify project challenges real time and provide guidance/resolutionDevelop MEP critical path scheduleCoordinate critical construction and startup activitiesDevelop and manage MOP activities in live environmentsManage MEP quality controlAudit projects for compliance with standards and processesManage staffing requirementsPromote safety policiesDevelop and manage energization planBuild strong subcontractor and client relationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience6 years’ experience in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction6 years combined experience in Mission Critical Construction, Hospital Construction, MEP Project Management, or Mechanical and Electrical System Start-up and CommissioningStrong communication skills; verbal and writtenStrong leadership skills; able to build and lead a teamCapable in coordinating and scheduling MEP activitiesAptitude for problem solvingAbility to work independentlyMotivated self-starterManage and evaluate team members performanceEffectively utilize computer and software technology in the performance of dutiesPreconstruction / Equipment Procurement ExperienceWilling to travelIn accordance with Virginia Senate Bill 215 (SB 215), the base salary range for this position is:$95,000.00 - $135,000.00Compensation in other cities and states may vary.
