Summary
The Family Services/ERSEA Mentor plays a vital role in the implementation and evaluation of social services for children and families and serves as a driving force in the recruitment, enrollment, and selection of children. This position requires the ability to provide guidance and support to Family Service Workers through professional development and onsite mentoring opportunities. The role also supports the Program Manager, Family Services/ERSEA, in planning and equipping program staff in the areas of social services, human services, and family services to effectively support and advocate for children and families in achieving their school readiness goals. This position requires frequent travel to and from various sites and other locations to support and enhance services provided to children, families, and staff.
Qualifications

• An associate's degree in social services, family services, human services, or a related field;
• A bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned fields (preferred);
• At least two years of case management experience working with at-risk or economically disadvantaged families;
• Experience in data analysis and interpretation;
• Experience in planning and conducting staff development;
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written;
• Grant writing experience (preferred);
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license;
• Or any equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience as determined by the Executive Director.
