Key Responsibilities Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via secure video conferencing tools, ensuring ethical and compassionate care tailored to each client’s needs. Utilize solution-based treatment modalities to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans, responding adaptively to client progress and feedback. Assist clients in developing insight into their emotions, behaviors, and relationships while guiding them toward healthy coping mechanisms. Consistently monitor client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Document all clinical interactions and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring organized and efficient record-keeping. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily engage with stable and low-acuity adults seeking support for anxiety, stress, and other mental health concerns. You will focus on helping clients build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and work toward personal growth, ensuring a supportive and non-judgmental environment tailored to their unique backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health therapist is essential (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW). Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to establish rapport with clients in a virtual setting. A commitment to cultural competence and awareness of diverse backgrounds is crucial for providing inclusive care. Preferred Experience Experience in delivering therapy in a remote format is highly desirable, along with adaptability to various teletherapy platforms. Proven expertise in employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client needs. Previous work within a telehealth environment may be advantageous but is not mandatory.
