What You'll Do:
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on clinical data and inmate interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
- Document all treatment and evaluation activities accurately in health records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and support to inmates
- Apply psychological counseling techniques and theories effectively
- Respond to inmate needs with appropriate assessments and interventions
What You Need:
- Valid licensure and certification in mental health or counseling (requirements vary by state)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant mental health experience
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and confidentiality skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
