What You'll Do:
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments via clinical interviews and review of records
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans tailored to inmate needs
- Document all treatment and evaluation activities accurately in health records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques within caseload activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate inmate care
What You Need:
- Active California LCSW or LPCC license
- Proven experience in mental health assessment and counseling
- Strong knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to perform all job functions at a professional level and within a fast-paced environment
- US Citizenship (for ICE clearance), with expedited clearance available for new activation
- Willingness to undergo thorough background and credit investigation for clearance; ICE processing takes approximately 4-6 weeks
