Mental Health Technician - Per Diem

Performs the functions of a mental health technician in carrying out all assignments given by the RN in charge of Emergency Department. Is accountable for all patientcare she/he gives in the Emergency Department. Is responsible for adhering to all Standards of Nursing Care and for promoting teamwork among co-workers.

• Minimum of grammar school education, high school or equivalent desirable;
• Genuine interest in welfare of ill/ mentally ill;
• Willingness to work under close supervision;
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions effectively;
• Specific orientation and training for Emergency Department.
