TITLE: MEMBER TECHNICAL STAFF (Design Integration)FLSA STATUS: EXEMPTREPORTS TO: DIRECTOR, DESIGN INTEGRATIONSUMMARY:Under the direction of the Director of Design Integration, the Member of Technical Staff is responsible for designing and developing advanced mask designs for new and prototype products, including the review and presentation of all new designs to various engineering groups; overseeing design rule enforcement, documentation, and peer training; and preparing and maintaining documentation related to design rules such as alignment trees, KLA overlay specifications, profilometer arrangements, and test chip designs. This position is located in Milpitas, California.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Designs and develops of advanced mask designs for new and prototype productsReviews and presents all new designs to various engineering groups for review and approvalCommunicates with vendors daily to ensure shipments are processed and received per the established scheduleUpdates and communicates any changes to the process layer checklist to the design team as neededReview, edits, and maintains all documentation related to design rules including, but not limited to, alignment trees, KLA overlay specifications, profilometer arrangements, and test chip designsDevelops and implements practices or methodologies which reduce cost and improve operational efficiencyResponds to inquiries from other team members, managers, or departmentsAdheres to all safety policies and procedures as requiredPerforms other duties of a similar nature or level*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics, and/or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s degree preferredTen years of hands’ on experience working in mask design integration in a semiconductor or thin film manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge and experience using Auto CAD or other specialized software to create mask designsProficient in the use of Microsoft Office ApplicationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong knowledge of advanced mask design integration and design rule enforcementKnowledge of wafer fabrication processing techniques and toolsKnowledge and ability to use Auto CAD or other software application to create mask designsKnowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentationsAble to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of contractors, consultants, employees, and managementAble to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and managementAble to comply with all safety policies and proceduresDemonstrated analytical and critical thinking skillsDemonstrated organizational and time management skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skillsFlexible and able to prioritizeWORKING CONDITIONS:The Member Technical Staff (Design Integration) works primarily in an indoor environment from Monday thru Friday. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Stands and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends, and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and other office equipment. May occasionally be required to push, pull, or lift up to 10 pounds.The annual base salary for this full-time position is between $141,568.35-$208,188.75 + bonus target + benefits. Within the range the individual pay may differ depending on additional factors including job responsibilities, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience.
