Member Services Representative Ii/TellerSparks Group, partnering with an established financial institution in Washington, DC, is seeking a member services representative II/teller for a potential contract to hire opportunity. You will be responsible for a broad range of member service activities for members and staff as well as performing teller duties, as needed. The ideal candidate will be punctual, dependable, and have reliable transportation to work on-site five days/week.
Please apply to learn more!ResponsibilitiesProvide a variety of services for members including receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals, recording mail deposits, selling cashier's checks and traveler's checks in person or via phone, mail or emailPerform account maintenance functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, and assisting members with the resolution of any issues with credit union productsCross-sell credit union products by answering inquiries, informing members of new services and product promotions, ascertaining members' needsProvide clerical/administrative support to the lending departmentPerform other duties as assignedQualifications/Background Profile3+ years of member services and cash handling experience preferably with a credit unionHigh school diploma or equivalentBilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish are preferredKnowledge of credit union products and servicesExceptional verbal and written communication and skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh-level attention to detail and dependability is a must
