To support members in navigating their healthcare benefits, the remote Member Care Advocate will provide empathetic support through inbound calls and chats, resolve member issues related to benefits coverage, and empower members by educating them on available resources, all while working as a contractor in a high-volume environment. Key responsibilities Provide member-centered support by answering inbound calls and chats respectfully and empathetically Resolve core member issues, including explaining benefits coverage and connecting members to available programs Document interactions accurately and deliver consistent quality to meet or exceed member satisfaction expectations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of customer service or healthcare experience, or 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or benefits navigation Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls using VoIP phone systems Strong familiarity with Google Workspace, Apple products, and CRM software Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations Ability to work from a secure, distraction-free home office with reliable internet
