Melting Department PositionThe Melting Department is responsible for supporting daily production operations by safely operating melting equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient workflow.Scope of ResponsibilitiesThis role includes performing machine start-up and shutdown procedures, completing accurate production and downtime reporting, and following all safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout and the Stop-Call-Wait process.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAchieving daily production targets and ensuring part quality meets customer requirementsDemonstrates all essential duties & responsibilities in MeltingStart-up and shutdown of melting machinesComplete accurate production and downtime reports with correct codes, reject quantity and descriptionsFollow safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout and the Stop-Call-Wait processMaintain good housekeepingPreferred Training/ExperienceFlexibility to work in a hot environmentAbility and willingness to work any shift as neededWillingness to work overtime – at times with short noticeForklift experience preferredQualified candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work and learn in a team-oriented environment.
