Melt Shop Manager
We are seeking an experienced Melt Shop Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within a manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for leading the team, maintaining safe and efficient operations, and ensuring production goals are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day melt shop operations.
- Supervise, develop, and motivate production personnel.
- Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency standards are maintained.
- Monitor production performance and address operational issues as they arise.
- Work closely with maintenance, quality, engineering, and other departments.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime, and increase productivity.
- Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and provide hands-on leadership.
- Ensure procedures, policies, and company standards are followed.
Qualifications:
- Previous leadership experience in a melt shop, steelmaking, foundry, or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Safety-focused with a hands-on approach to operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
