We Offer

  • Pay: $20.00 per hour, with quarterly bonus pay
  • Schedule: To Be Determined (TBD)

What You'll Do

Support Client Recovery

  • Oversee and monitor client self-administration of medications according to physician orders and treatment protocols.
  • Observe clients for side effects or adverse reactions and communicate concerns promptly to the nursing and medical team.
  • Respond appropriately during medical emergencies by following established procedures.

Ensure Accuracy & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs) and related documentation.
  • Safeguard medications and confidential client information.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational policies regarding medication administration.

Coordinate Client Care

  • Collaborate with nurses, providers, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to support each client's care plan.
  • Schedule medical, dental, and vision appointments as needed.
  • Help ensure clients receive timely healthcare services that support their recovery goals.

Manage Medication Inventory

  • Monitor medication supplies and inventory.
  • Assist with ordering, storing, and securing medications.
  • Help maintain adequate medication availability for client needs.

Continue Growing Professionally

  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education.
  • Stay current on best practices in medication administration and behavioral healthcare.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Medication Technician certification (or equivalent credential recognized in the State of New Jersey).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to professionalism, ethical conduct, and client confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or substance use treatment.
  • Experience working in a residential treatment or recovery environment.
