Business Office Manager We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional with a proven track record in a Surgical Center setting. nWill lead an efficient, successful, highly focused customer service trained business office team including:
n-surgery scheduling -admissions/registration -insurance verification -patient financial counselors -collections

- You will lead many process improvement initiatives n
- You will ensure accurate business transactions and processes which require a high level of professional judgment and discretion in carrying out assignments, the ability to problem solve, a high degree of confidentiality, and the ability to work under pressure. n
DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Managing revenue cycle process n
- Establish and maintain protocols for the charge entry n
- Complete all month end close processes. n
- Assures compliance to industry regulatory standards as well as North Central/USPI Business Office standards, policies and procedures. n
- Communicates regularly and effectively n
- Dynamic leadership skills to help direct, coach and motivate staff. n
- Conduct personnel evaluations for employees supervised. n
- Interview and hire personnel as needed due to staff changes. n
- Conduct departmental meetings. n
- Maintain strict confidentiality in regards to patient account status. n
Required Skills
nEDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Management experience, insurance contracts, healthcare experience, patient-facing experience, registration, medical records, insurance verification n
- A Bachelor's degree in a business or HIM related field. n
- Minimum of five years business office management experience, three as a department manager. n
- Proficiency in accounting and ability to use computer automated accounting systems (Advantx). n
- Experience working with all types of third party payers. (HMO, PPO, Medicare/Medicaid, etc.) n
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. n
- Demonstrates accountability, integrity, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative. n
Required Experience

- 1+ years’ experience in medical assisting or administration and/or patient registration n
- High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred) n
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance n
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills n
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software n
