Medication Aide (Full-Time/Overnights)

Full-Time Medication Aide – Overnight Shift PositionCountryside Senior Living is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated Medication Aide to join our overnight team. This position plays an important role in providing residents with safe, attentive care throughout the night, including medication administration, personal care, responding to resident needs, and preparing for the day ahead. Our overnight Medication Aides must be comfortable working independently and making good decisions while also knowing they have the support of our nursing and care team when needed.Administer medications accurately and on schedule according to physician orders and facility policiesAssist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, showering, and personal careRespond promptly and compassionately to resident calls for assistanceObserve residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staffComplete required medication and resident care documentation accuratelyPerform light housekeeping and laundry duties during the overnight shiftAssist with preparing the community and residents for morning routinesMaintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentialityFollow all infection control, safety, medication administration, and resident rights policiesCommunicate effectively with nursing staff and other team members to ensure continuity of careSouth Dakota Medication Aide credentials preferred; we are willing to train the right candidateHigh school diploma or GED requiredDependable, responsible, and able to work independentlyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCompassionate and respectful when assisting residentsStrong communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamJoin a team committed to providing dependable, compassionate care around the clock for the residents who call Countryside Senior Living home.
