Medicare Billing Supervisor

Medicare Billing SupervisorBaptist Health is looking for a Medicare Billing Supervisor to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residence in KY or IN.The Medicare Billing Supervisor assists with maintaining supervision and leadership on the floor within the department. Assists with performing employee audits, training and counseling employees on attendance and productivity goals.

Handles phone calls, emails and attends meetings in the absence of department manager. If required, able to work more than 40 hours a week to assist manager with special projects.Requirements:Associates degree or 5 years experience in a patient accounting office or medical office setting with 2 year as a team lead/supervisor experience in lieu of degree. Relevant computer knowledge and typing ability required.One-year experience in hospital Medicare billing required.Experience with Medicare compliance, LMRP's and APC knowledge requiredUnderstanding of UB92, revenue codes, CPT and HCPC coding requiredBaptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
