Job Summary
Medpace is currently seeking candidates with a PhD in Life Sciences with a focus in Hematology and/or Oncology research for a full-time, office-based Medical Writer position. The Medical Writer will lead development of various high-quality documents critical to the development of safe and effective medical therapeutics. This is a unique opportunity that includes comprehensive training and application of the candidate’s analytical skills and academic knowledge . The position includes independent work and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and maintain high-quality, complex clinical and regulatory documents, including, but not limited to, clinical study reports, protocols, Investigator’s brochures, and IND and NDA modules.
- Coordinate and conduct quality control reviews.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with Sponsors and Medpace subject matter experts.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while also meeting deadlines.
- Maintain an understanding of and compliance with company processes, and industry guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications
- PhD in Life Sciences with a focus in Hematology and/or Oncology research (clinical or nonclinical).
- Ability to synthesize complex information into a clear and concise format that is appropriate for the target audience.
- Energetic and enthusiastic team-player that is self-motivated and eager to learn and grow in the position.
- Prior experience in the CRO, pharmaceutical, or medical writing industries is not required but is advantageous.
