Position will be in Core Lab - Experience all three sections preferred Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank
Job Summary / Essential Functions
Assumes responsibility for the performance of routine, standardized biological and/or biochemical tests, as well as more complex procedures on blood, urine, tissues, body fluids and other specimens that assist physicians in the clinical management of patients.
Assumes responsibility of recognizing results or problems that require referral to Supervisor, Pathologist or Scientific or Administrative Director.
Performs additional tasks as requested by Chairman of pathology or his/her designee.

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Education
- Minimum of Associate degree in medical technology or qualifying sciences.
- Knowledge of specialized principles or techniques which would normally be obtained through a formal two-year college/university academic program.
- Registry with a recognized board of registry for MLT / MLS such as American Society of Clinical Pathologists ASCP is highly preferred.
