This is a part‑time, ≥20 hours per week position with the Department of Social Services. The average work week is 20 hours (dayshift, weekdays). The position includes call approximately one out of every five weeks.

What you will do

  • Collect blood samples from clients in all treatment areas.
  • Process and package patient samples for sending out for reference laboratory testing.
  • Perform general maintenance on laboratory analyzers and general laboratory equipment.
  • Run quality control samples on test systems per policy and ensure proper functioning of analyzers.
  • Perform CLIA Waived testing and CLIA Moderately complex laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, and urinalysis.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned.

This position is eligible for Veterans' Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
