Responsibilities

Preforms analyses on biological specimens, e.g. blood and urine, to aid health care providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Participates in operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.

This position has no visa sponsorship and requires a 2‑year commitment to the role.

Qualifications

For MT: Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or Clinical Laboratory Science; or Bachelor’s degree plus certificate in one of those fields. An HEW certificate may be substituted for the specified degree.

For MLT: Associate’s degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or U.S. military Medical Laboratory training program.

Skills: Experience working in a medical field. Moderate to advanced computer skills. Good written and oral communication, ability to prioritize work, manage time, and adapt to changing workloads. Preferred: Phlebotomy experience. Willingness to travel to other MCHS locations as needed.

Compensation Detail

MT hourly rate: $32.43 – $48.66. MLT hourly rate: $26.52 – $39.32. Education, experience, and tenure may be considered and are evaluated in line with internal equity.
