Friday - Saturday, 7 am - 7 am -- 48-hour shift
20 patients seen per 24 hours -- 10 phone consults
General surgery setting -- adult and trauma coverage
Laparoscopic surgery required -- appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
Chest wall, pleural procedures, and chest tube insertion required
GI endoscopy required -- upper, lower, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
Vascular surgery required -- aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass
Pediatric surgery skills preferred
