Creating and sustaining positive, compassionate interactions with clients and co-workers, and providing high quality service will be central to the work you do.
Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be important to your responsibilities.Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Support Services Director, Medical Support Staff Float:Provides exemplary internal and external customer service on phone or in person.Work hours between 6am and 8pm, and work at locations throughout Pueblo, Huerfano, and Las Animas CountiesCovers front desk reception as needed.Operates switchboard/reception phone.Actively engages with individuals who might be experiencing behavioral health or medical crisesScans and uploads records to the electronic health record.Verifies client payer eligibility.Schedules client appointments as requested.Processes Release of Information requests.Balances cash drawer/box.Maintains client electronic health records as needed.Completes client phone enrollments.Completes other department task requests as needed.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.Desired Attributes:Is adaptable to change in the workplace and uses change as an opportunity for innovation and creativity.Takes ownership of problems, has ability to brainstorm different problem resolution paths, uses sound judgment in selecting solutions to problems, and demonstrates consistent follow through.Has job knowledge and skills to perform the fundamental job functions and is able and willing to assume greater responsibility over time regarding the scope of work.Has the ability to inspire and model collaborative teamwork.Demonstrates an understanding of customer service regarding accommodation, politeness, helpfulness, trust building, appropriate boundaries, and flexibility.Physical Requirements:Requires standing, sitting, driving, and walking for prolonged periods of timeOccasionally lifts and carries items up to 20 poundsRequires working under stress in emergency situationsRequires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record data electronically and communicate with clientsOccasional exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluidsRequires frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouseWhat You'll Like About Us:Competitive pay. $17.22 an hour (Depends on education and related experience)Generous benefits package.
