Medical Staff Associate2nd Chance Clinic is an outpatient addiction treatment organization in Lexington serving adults in the greater central Kentucky area. We are currently seeking a full time Medical Staff Associate to be part of our clinic team.The following are a list of responsibilities and duties:Patient interaction and customer serviceOffice organization and administrationPerform observed urine collectionPerform routine venipuncture (if trained)Adhering to regulations and legislationInterview patients and document basic medical historyOrganize and schedule appointmentsUpdate and file medical records and insurance prior authorizationsArrange for laboratory servicesCollate patient charts and complete appropriate documentationPerform intake examinationsLiaise with other organizations regarding insurance, patient care plan, or documentsHandle accounts receivable and produce daily balance sheetPrepare and clean clinic and treatment roomsInventory supplies for purchasingOrganize, track and prepare encounter forms for billingReport perceived issues to supervisors immediatelyAssist physicians with administrative dutiesOrganize and track billing encountersOther duties as assigned
