To enhance provider efficiency and patient satisfaction, the full-time Virtual Medical Scribe will perform medical record documentation and clerical duties remotely from approved states, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time. Key responsibilities Prepare and assemble medical record documentation to support healthcare providers Virtually enter the patient room with the physician to capture and transcribe medical record documentation using electronic medical record applications Update all components of the patient's medical record at the direction of the physician, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and HIPAA regulations Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 3 - 6 months of previous Medical Scribe experience Typing speed of 45+ WPM Ability to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, with availability for a minimum of 6 consecutive months for part-time or 12 consecutive months for full-time Residency in one of the approved states for virtual work with ProScribe
