Medical Scribe - IL Licensed

To support a medical practice, the part-time Medical Scribe - IL Licensed will document physician services during patient encounters in real time, accurately enter information into the EHR, and retrieve data for physician review while working remotely. Key responsibilities Document in real time the physician's actions, words, and findings during patient visits Accurately enter and manage patient information in the EHR as dictated by the physician Retrieve and transcribe relevant data for physician review, including lab results and medical records Required qualifications High School graduate or GED required Completion of a medical terminology course preferred or previous medical terminology experience Typing proficiency of 80-90 words per minute Ability to multi-task and maintain professional communication Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
