Medical Science Liaison, Uncontrolled Gout – Rare Disease

• Serve as a scientific liaison to the medical/scientific community
• Establish and maintain relationships with prominent experts and clinicians
• Network with external customers, including medical thought leaders and academic institutions
• Communicate scientific and medical information and the commercial value of products
• Collaborate with functional areas to identify opportunities and needs
• Train potential new speakers on scientific content
• Participate in national and regional conferences
• Evaluate potential external clinical research collaboration opportunities

Requirements

• Doctorate degree OR Master's degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor's degree & 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
• 2 years of proven experience in scientific or medical affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company
• Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel up to 60%
• Must have ability to learn to use new business applications across hardware tools (e.g., PC, iPad)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
