WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

RenovoRx, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNXT) is a life sciences company developing innovative targeted oncology therapies and commercializing RenovoCath®, a novel, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared local drug-delivery device, targeting high unmet medical needs. RenovoRx’s patented Trans-Arterial Micro-Perfusion (TAMP™) therapy platform is designed for targeted therapeutic delivery across the arterial wall near the tumor site to bathe the target tumor, while potentially minimizing a therapy’s toxicities versus systemic intravenous therapy. RenovoRx’s novel approach to targeted treatment offers the potential for increased safety, tolerance, and improved efficacy, and its mission is to transform the lives of cancer patients by providing innovative solutions to enable targeted delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic agents.

In addition to the RenovoCath device, RenovoRx is evaluating its novel drug-device combination oncology product candidate (intra-arterial gemcitabine delivered via RenovoCath, known as IAG) in the ongoing Phase III TIGeR-PaC trial. IAG is being evaluated by the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (the drug division of the FDA) under a U.S. investigational new drug application that is regulated by the FDA’s 21 CFR 312 pathway. IAG utilizes RenovoCath, the Company’s patented, FDA-cleared drug-delivery device, indicated for temporary vessel occlusion in applications including arteriography, preoperative occlusion, and chemotherapeutic drug infusion.

As a small public company with a dedicated and close-knit team, we work hard to execute RenovoRx’s mission. You will bridge scientific evidence and clinical practice, deliver impactful medical education, and generate actionable field insights. You will report to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and partner with our management team.

This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role suited to an entrepreneurial, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is motivated by the impact of their work on patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide in-depth, center-specific training (e.g., patient selection criteria, and adverse event mitigation).
  • Teach internal and external training courses as a subject matter expert on treatments utilizing RenovoRx’s RenovoCath technology.

Clinical Insights & Field Intelligence

  • Regularly engage centers (virtual and in-person) to identify trends, barriers, and opportunities in care delivery.
  • Gather and synthesize field insights to inform Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Communications strategies.
  • Submit monthly reports highlighting clinical trends, physician feedback, and competitive intelligence.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track field activity, interactions, and KOL engagement.

Congress & Conference Participation

  • Attend sessions to stay current on new data, engage with investigators, and communicate relevant findings internally.
  • Support KOL speakers and ensure accurate, timely scientific communication from the field.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Clinical Research to ensure scientific alignment and strategic consistency across messaging, educational initiatives, and business strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to integrate field insights into development and evidence generation plans.
  • Contribute to publication planning, data dissemination, and thought leader engagement strategies.
  • Act as a bridge between external clinicians and internal leadership by identifying unmet needs, spotting opportunities, and translating insights into actionable strategies.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Master’s degree in life science or related field required.
  • Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) strongly preferred.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years as a Medical Science Liaison, ideally within GI medical oncology supporting liquid biopsies, drug-device combinations, or drug delivery systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct medical education programs and build strong partnerships with community and academic centers.
  • Deep understanding of NCCN and ASCO guidelines, oncology treatment paradigms, and emerging therapeutic technologies.
  • Skilled in presenting scientific data, developing abstracts/manuscripts, and contributing to publication planning.
