Medical Science Liaison, Northeast

The Medical Science Liaison is a field-based professional providing medical and scientific support for Organon's Women's Health programs, engaging in scientific exchange and delivering balanced clinical/scientific information.

Territory: ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with HCPs, professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, payers, decision makers, and other key stakeholders.
• Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in Women's Health.
• Present data and conduct balanced peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with HCPs, academic institutions, clinical investigators, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate on scientific communication plans, medical-to-medical materials, and research (including investigator-initiated trials and collaboration on investigator selection and site performance/recruitment).
• Assist with scientific training for Commercial and internal colleagues.
• Support speaker training and advisory boards as requested.
• Represent Organon at national and regional medical meetings; support Medical Information booth activities as needed.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information in accordance with policies and document requests.

Required Education/Experience/Skills

• PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or equivalent.
• 5 years clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Women's Health experience preferred.
• Ability to build long-term relationships; strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify medical engagement opportunities and define/drive scientific engagement goals.
• Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies; ability to evaluate and translate scientific material.
• Travel up to ~50% as appropriate.
• Self-starter, able to manage multiple programs, work independently, handle ambiguity, and challenge the status quo.
