Remote Full Time Communication & PR

Position Requirements / Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with academic/community research thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders in assigned geography; answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions.
  • Use multiple channels (1:1, group presentations, remote, etc.) to present accurate scientific information and respond to questions in line with ethical/legal guidelines.
  • Assess the medical landscape by meeting with TLs/HCPs/access stakeholders; continuously update knowledge of treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and scientific activities.
  • Understand competitive landscape and prepare to address customer informational needs.
  • Identify partnership opportunities with HCPs (disease state initiatives, collaborative research, ISR) aligned with BMS objectives.
  • Attend medical congresses/local/regional meetings; collect and communicate medical insights to medical and commercial teams.
  • Develop geography-specific Field Medical and TL Interaction plans; contribute to institution/account planning and medical programs.
  • Establish compliant collaborations with cross-matrix field teams; support training and provide scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide scientific support at promotional meetings; participate in assigned congress activities.
  • Support interventional and non-interventional research: identify/assess study sites, provide feasibility insights, support ISR processes/follow-up, apply pharmacovigilance documents and report adverse events.
  • Actively support CRO-sponsored studies.

Qualifications

  • MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with experience in a specific disease area or broad medical background and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
  • Disease-area knowledge; understanding of scientific publications.
  • Knowledge of scientific/clinical area, competitive landscape, patient treatment trends; clinical trial design/process.
  • Knowledge of national healthcare/access environment and HEOR core concepts.
  • Excellent English (spoken/written).

Experience Desired

  • 2+ years in clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience.
  • Independent/teamwork; ability to translate scientific/clinical data for physicians.
  • Communication/presentation skills; peer-to-peer relationship building; ability to quickly learn new subject areas.

Essential Qualification / Travel

  • Ability to drive a company-provided car; safe driving history.
  • Travel required; field-based role living in territory or within 50 miles of territory borders.

Compensation / Benefits (as stated)

  • Field (United States): $166,090–$201,262 base salary range; additional incentive cash/stock may be available (eligibility-based).
