Join a team where collaboration, respect, and meaningful work are at the heart of what we do.Responsibilities:Set up, maintain, update, thin, and close resident medical records in accordance with facility policies and regulationsCollect information from nursing staff, physicians, and other departments to ensure records remain accurate and completeMonitor and audit resident charts for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory complianceUpdate resident care policies and maintain required medical records documentationPrepare physician paperwork, schedule outside physician appointments, and maintain physician and nurse practitioner visit calendarsProcess transfer and discharge records and maintain records for former residentsAdd physician orders, laboratory results, and departmental reports to resident medical recordsProcess laboratory requests, PRI assessments, census updates, QA documentation, resident identification materials, and other required medical records functionsCreate admission packets and provide necessary documentation to appropriate departmentsSupport quality assurance activities and communicate admissions, discharges, and transfers as requiredPerform additional duties as assignedRequirements:Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Medical Records Administration preferredMinimum experience requirement: 6 months of administrative experience; 1 year of experience in medical administration preferredStrong organizational and record-keeping skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks and deadlinesStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsProficiency with computer systems and electronic records managementAbility to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standardsProblem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team membersBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving OptionsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
