Medical ReceptionistSan Antonio, TX 78258Job Summary: In this role, you will provide front-office support for a specialty medical practice by delivering excellent patient service both in person and over the phone. The Medical Receptionist supports patients, providers, and clinical staff and plays an important role in ensuring efficient scheduling, accurate patient information management, and a positive patient experience across multiple clinic locations. Bilingual skills are a major PLUS!Medical Receptionist Pay & Details: Pay range: $16.00-$17.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, office hours (No weekends) Location: On-site; must be able to work between the Stone Oak and Alamo Ranch clinic locations as needed Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit or pay card; access to Medical, Dental, Vision & moreMedical Receptionist Duties: Greet patients and visitors professionally to create a welcoming and positive clinic experience Answer incoming calls, take accurate messages, and assist patients with scheduling and appointment-related questions Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments to support efficient clinic operations Collect and update patient demographic, insurance, and contact information to maintain accurate records Collect patient payments and assist with check-in and check-out processes Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to support smooth patient flow and timely appointments Maintain patient charts and documentation in accordance with office procedures and confidentiality standardsMedical Receptionist Requirements: Required: High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of customer service, receptionist, medical office, or front desk experience At least 1 year of computer experience Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to work between the Stone Oak and Alamo Ranch clinic locations as needed Must be authorized to work in the United States Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check No visible tattoos (client workplace policy) Preferred: Medical office, medical receptionist, or patient scheduling experience Bilingual English/Spanish Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems or patient scheduling software
