SY Aesthetics is looking for a personable, organized, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our plastic surgery and aesthetics practice.
This is a patient-facing role that combines front-desk operations, exceptional patient experience, sales, and lead coordination. The ideal candidate is confident in communicating with patients, comfortable discussing services and payment options, and able to provide a warm, professional experience from the initial inquiry through the patient’s visit.
The role includes appointment scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, payment processing, medical financing assistance, lead follow-up, and supporting patient conversions. Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, or a med spa environment is preferred.
Spanish fluency is required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a medical, aesthetic, plastic surgery, dermatology, med spa, or similar patient-facing environment
- Warm, upbeat, and friendly personality with a welcoming approach to patients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and patient experience skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with appointment scheduling and calendar management
- Experience with patient check-in/check-out
- Experience collecting patient payments and accurately processing transactions
- Experience discussing or processing patient financing
- Comfortable communicating pricing and payment options to patients
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Sales or consultative sales experience
- Ability to follow up with prospective patients and convert inquiries into consultations
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, or a med spa
- Experience with CRM, such as GoHighLevel, Salesforce or HubSpot
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite & Meta Ads Manager
- Lead management / sales pipeline management experience
- Experience with CareCredit, Alphaeon, Cherry, or similar medical financing platforms
