Patient Registration Emergency RoomPay From: $23 Per Hour Baltimore MDMUST: 3+years of recent experience in a high volume Emergency Room, Hospital Registration or multi provider medical office Ability to work early evenings, overnights and every other weekend with a day off during the week Ability to work with mobile computer in very high volume environment to register patients Strong EMR documentation including collecting and verifying demographics and insurance Verifying insurance and determining eligibility Obtaining pre-certifications Entering codes for procedures Registering or checking patients in and applying financial information Strong customer service support skills with empathetic personality HS diploma or GED Ability to handle translations for Spanish speaking patientsDUTIES: Greet patients Register patients utilizing mobile equipment Collect patient's insurance and financial information for reimbursements Enter and update demographic patient information Determine insurance coverage Obtain pre-authorizations Assist with inquiries Provide customer service support Verify insurance Handle translations for Spanish speaking patients Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
