Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Physicist, this role provides physics support for the Radiation Oncology department, including weekly chart checking, acceptance, testing and commissioning of therapy hardware, and calibration and QA of therapy equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Medical Physics or related major
  • Ph.D. in Medical Physics or related major
  • National Medical Physics - Therapeutic Certification from the American Board of Radiology upon hire
  • 2 years post‑degree clinical experience or completion of a post‑degree clinical medical physics residency.

Benefits & Compensation

$112.48 - $179.83 per hour (base pay range). Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
