Medical Oncologist

CompHealth is seeking a dedicated healthcare professional for a locum tenens opportunity, focusing on inpatient care. This role involves hospital coverage and rounding on adult patients, with a low call-back percentage during weekend call. CompHealth streamlines the locums process by handling credentialing, housing, and travel arrangements, allowing providers to concentrate on patient care.

Practice Info

• 100% adult inpatient population
• No outpatient or inpatient procedures required

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital coverage Monday - Thursday, 7 am - 7 pm
• Take call Friday - Sunday
• Round on 8 - 9 patients on Friday/Saturday
• Perform optional Sunday rounding
• Manage approximately 5 new consults per week
• Conduct daily rounding on 3 - 4 patients
• Provide leave coverage

Compensation

• $375 - $500 hourly
• Rates shown are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
