Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician to join their team at Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center. This role involves an outpatient practice with hospital consults, supported by an experienced APP and dedicated staff including a nurse navigator. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing health system in a community with a large referral area.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients adolescence to adult with all types of cancer and other benign and malignant tumors

Shift & Schedule
- 1:3 call rotation
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Internal Medicine residency program and completion of a Hematology or Oncology fellowship or integrated Hematology and Medical Oncology Program in accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/ subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but have completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their fellowship training unless the appropriate governing Board waives such requirement
- Experience can be demonstrated by fellowship log (for recent graduates) or a quality profile from hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the last 12 months (for those not applying directly out of fellowship)
- Must be able to demonstrate active involvement of inpatient services for at least 50 patients in the last 12 months (if providing quality profile from hospital)
- Must be able to demonstrate active involvement in the care of 50 patients in clinical practice in the last 12 months (if providing documentation of clinic activity)
