Medical Oncologist

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Oncology Physician to join a growing group of physicians. This role involves providing comprehensive care to adolescent and adult patients with various cancers and tumors. The position offers an opportunity to work in a newly built "Super Clinic" with advanced facilities and a supportive administrative culture.

Practice Info

• Join a group of 15 primary care, 5 pediatric, 2 general surgeons, and 2 OB/GYN providers
• Newly Built "Super Clinic" with Same Day Surgery Center, infusion center, lab/radiology, mobile MRI, and CT Scanner
• Current outreach from Sanford Bismarck Hematology/Oncology physicians with a full time APP in the practice
• Large referral area of western North Dakota, eastern Montana, and northern North Dakota
• Supportive administration that helps to foster a culture of innovation

Responsibilities

• Admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients adolescence to adult with all types of cancer and other benign and malignant tumors

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Internal Medicine residency program and completion of a Hematology or Oncology fellowship or integrated Hematology and Medical Oncology Program in accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
• Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/ subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Oncology Physician
• If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training
