Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology physician to join their team. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient care with hospital consults, supported by a strong multidisciplinary team.   • Outpatient practice with hospital consults
  • Dedicated Support Staff: Strong APP team, Certified Oncology Dietitian, Social Worker, Financial Counselor, Genetic Counselor, Nurse Navigators, a Nurse Survivorship Navigator, and a Native American Advocate
  • 23 infusion rooms

  • Collaborative relationship with oncology team at Roger Maris Cancer Center, Fargo

Responsibilities

  • Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients adolescence to adult with all types of cancer and other benign and malignant tumors

Compensation

  • Nationally competitive compensation plan
  • Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $483,489 - $625,692 plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs

Shift & Schedule

  • No overnight or weekend call

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Internal Medicine residency program
  • Completion of a Hematology or Oncology fellowship or integrated Hematology and Medical Oncology Program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training
  • Demonstrate active involvement of inpatient services for at least 50 patients in the last 12 months (if not applying directly out of fellowship and providing a quality profile)
  • Demonstrate active involvement in the care of 50 patients in clinical practice in the last 12 months (if a quality profile is not available)
