Position Summary

The Medical Oncologist - Melanoma Specialist provides expert care for patients with melanoma and other skin cancers. This physician diagnoses and treats patients using immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other systemic treatments while collaborating with a multidisciplinary cancer care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with melanoma and skin cancers.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Administer and monitor immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other cancer treatments.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and patient care planning.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and survivorship.
• Support and participate in clinical research and clinical trials.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and comply with quality standards.

Qualifications

Must be board certified/board eligible through ABMS or AOA. Must have current Florida medical license or ability to obtain one.
