• The firm's attorneys regularly defend high-exposure claims such as wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and allegations of medical negligence across various medical specialties.


• A hybrid work arrangement is offered, though periodic in-office work in Charlotte is required for client meetings, trainings, and team collaboration.


• The role involves defending healthcare providers and institutions in medical malpractice and professional liability litigation, assisting with cases through all phases including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial.


• Key responsibilities include analyzing medical records, working closely with expert witnesses and consulting physicians, drafting persuasive motions and briefs, participating in witness preparation and court appearances, collaborating on strategic defense plans, and assisting with regulatory investigations and professional licensing matters.


• The firm prefers candidates with medical malpractice or liability defense experience and expects comfort handling depositions and court appearances commensurate with experience.
