Medical Laboratory Technologist: Wolf Point
Northeast Montana Health Services, Inc., d/b/a Trinity Hospital, at Wolf Point, MT based hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform basic bench work in all areas of the laboratory on clinical specimens.
- Understand basic quality control / troubleshooting quality control problems.
- Correctly register patients, order, run and report test results in the hospital/laboratory information system.
- Maintain CLIA regulations.
- Possess knowledge of microbiology procedures and antibiotic use and selection.
- Report to the Director of Laboratory Services.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science/medical technology, one of the specialty areas, or one of chemical or biological sciences with at least two years of experience required.
- Must possess a nationally recognized license under ASCP, AMT, or NCA guidelines.
- Required to be licensed in the state of Montana as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
- Respondents must be presently eligible for permanent employment in the United States.
