Position: MLT/MT
Location: Lab, Jane Wheatley Medical Building, at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full time position for Weekend Nights or Weekday Nights available.

What You’ll Do
- Performs a wide range of laboratory procedures.
- Assists with instruction to students and new team members of lab procedures.
- Participates in required education, competencies, and annual training.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
- Follows HIPAA compliance.
- Recognizes variation in test results and the ability to determine accuracy.
- Familiar with lab equipment, operation of equipment, and problem solving if needed.
- Follows all current and up to date lab procedures and policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate or Bachelor's degree specializing as a Med Tech or Med Lab Tech.
- ASCP, AMT, HEW, or equivalent certifications required
- NEW GRADS WELCOME
- no experience necessary
- Job Demands------
- Strong and Effective Communication Skills
- Standing and/or Walking for long periods
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Maintain focus and follow complex protocols
- Familiarity with equipment and testing procedures.
- Lift over 35lbs
