Responsibilities
- Responsible for collecting, processing, and testing patient specimens
- Perform routine waived, moderately, and high-complex testing
- Evaluate and solve problems related to collection and processing of biological specimens
- Prepare samples for testing and maintain laboratory equipment
- Analyze quality control data and assist in troubleshooting
Requirements
- Associate degree in applied science in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Eligible to sit for MLT (ASCP) or equivalent
- 3 years in clinical laboratory for MLT III level
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- 1 year in a lab setting preferred for MLS I
- MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification required for MLS II and III
