Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support the Dayton VA Medical Center located at 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428. Available shift schedules include days and evening. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.Responsibilities:Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testingAnalyze, verify, and accurately report test resultsComplete STAT testing within 60 minutes of receiptCommunicate critical values to providers and document read-backPerform and document quality control (QC) and proficiency testingMaintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentationManage reagents, supplies, and inventoryFollow laboratory SOPs, CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and VA standardsMaintain accurate documentation of results, QC, and maintenanceEnsure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and patient safety regulationsQualifications:Minimum 24 months of experienceMust hold current MLT certification from:ASCP (BOC or BOR)AMTAmerican Association of BioanalystsNo sponsorship availableAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
