Medical Laboratory Scientist, part time, evenings, flexible schedule

Laboratory TechnologistWorks under the direction of the Manager of Technical Services conducting routine and complex tests for use in the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of disease. Maintains skills and knowledge in the appropriate use and performance of clinical diagnostic tests. Follows approved policies and procedures for safe and efficient work practices, results reporting and documentation, and works closely with other health care professionals in the communication and interpretation of diagnostic findings.

Develops and maintains a strong understanding of the laboratory information system. This is a 2nd shift (3-11 pm) position during the week and includes a 3rd shift every 3rd weekend/holiday rotation.
