Medical Lab TechnologistPrairie Band Health Services is looking for a Medical Lab Technologists or Clinical Laboratory Scientists for an opportunity at Omak Health Center located in Omak, WA.The Lab Technician for the Colville Tribal Healthcare Authority assists in the lab duties at their assigned location. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring a smooth, positive and patient focused environment. The Lab Technician will perform their job duties in a professional manner while assuring that all the needs of the patients are met with a pleasant demeanor.Full TimeMedical, Vision, Dental and morePTO, Holiday Pay, and morePrevious Medical/Clinical lab experience is requiredPhlebotomy experience helpfulPrevious IHS experience helpfulDuties:Assists lab staff with daily duties and responsibilities.Operates, cleans, and maintains the laboratory equipment and area in accordance with local, state, and federal standards.Performs laboratory specimen processing consisting of receiving, identifying, assigning accession numbers, sorting, preparation and internal laboratory distribution of blood, urine and other biological specimens.Restock supplies as needed and manage the equipment supply inventory.Record daily in the appropriate electronic health record system(s).Additional Duties:Additional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time.

Bachelors in Related field preferredMLT Certification12 months experience as a MLT or CLS in a Hospital Medical LabExperience providing care to patients within a rural areaMust be a US citizenActive Basic Life Support (BLS)Must be willing to pass Federal Security ClearanceImmunization records will be required
