Medical Lab Tech

Carle Health is seeking a Medical Lab Tech to perform diagnostic testing that supports high-quality patient care. In this role, you will collect and process specimens, operate and maintain laboratory instruments, and perform tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis. You will validate and document results, recognize abnormal values, and promptly communicate critical findings to clinical teams.

The position requires strict adherence to quality control, safety, and infection-prevention standards, as well as accurate data entry in the LIS/EMR. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians in a culture focused on innovation, teamwork, and patient safety while gaining opportunities for ongoing professional growth.
