This includes pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical function; performing the day-to-day work of MLT/MLS to include performing quality control and quality assurance; instrument maintenance and troubleshooting; monitoring supply inventory; and establishing and/or maintaining communications with health care providers, patients, and other hospital personnel.QualificationsMinimum of an associate's degree, bachelor's degree preferred with training to include the completion of a certified MLT/MLS program.MLT/MLS certification by ASCP, AMT, AABB or equivalent organization required.Minimum of 3 years Generalist experience in a hospital laboratory including Blood Banking and phlebotomy preferred.Must be able to work independently.MA-P phlebotomy license required within 6 months of hire.
