Are you an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist looking to take the next step in your career? Orlando Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist Sr. to join our team and play a key role in laboratory operations, quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, and team development.
What You'll Do
- Perform and oversee complex laboratory testing and analysis
- Support quality management, process improvement, and regulatory compliance efforts
- Assist with policy development, instrument evaluations, and competency programs
- Train and mentor laboratory team members
- Serve as a technical resource and assist with departmental leadership responsibilities
- Help ensure inspection readiness and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Completion of an approved clinical laboratory training internship
- Minimum of 3 years of Medical Laboratory Science experience
- Current Florida Medical Technologist License required
- ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification preferred
