- Greet patients and families in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone.
- Accurately obtain and verify patient and insurance information, entering it into the registration system.
- Schedule patient appointments, including return visits, referrals, and diagnostic testing/procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED; Associate degree preferred for Specialist level.
- For Specialist: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical practice or similar healthcare role.
- For Associate: 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience with the public.
- Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.
- Remote position with hours as needed, up to 16 hours per week, 8a-5p.
- PRN status, meaning as needed scheduling.
- Must be vaccinated for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella, and receive annual flu vaccine (or approved exemption).
